Abuelos modernos: bloggers y expertos en videojuegos

Tienen su propio blog y juegan con las últimas consolas. Lo hacen sólo para entretenerse y comunicar su experiencia al mundo. Las nuevas estrellas de la red son excepciones, pero parte del mundo virtual en aumento.

Así como en la playa cada vez más personas de tercera edad aparecerán con tatuajes al descubierto, en lo que respecta a Internet muchas de las generaciones que rozaron la era digital se están acercando a la ancianidad. Esa es la lógica: los que hoy tienen menos de 60, mañana serán respetados bloggers y habrán "dado vuelta" todos los juegos de la época. Pero, mientras tanto, los pioneros contemporáneos son noticia.

María Amelia nació en la Coruña, España, en diciembre de 1911. Para su cumpleaños número 95, su nieto le regaló un blog y así la transformó en la blogger más anciana del mundo al superar a un sueco de 93 años que planea escribir su autobiografía. Amelia sufre de miopía y cataratas por lo que necesita que su nieto escriba lo que esta le apunta. "Lo hago para entretenerme. Había visto que era una cosa simpática, bonita y entretenida. Yo quería tener relaciones con gente y ahora me relaciono con el mundo entero. Cuando me puse en esto no creí que fuese con el mundo entero, sino me echaba para atrás. Pero después ya me fui acostumbrando", comenta la propia española en una entrevista en su página.

Amelia le dio esa entrevista a un australiano que tampoco pasa inadvertido: se trata de Eric Shackle, un periodista retirado de 87 años, experto en Internet. Otro precursor en la blogósfera es Andrés Téllez Fimia, un español de 79 años que también se sumergió en el mundo digital por el empuje de sus nietos. Su blog, en el cual postea de todo, se autopresenta como el primero en ser escrito por un abuelo. En Inglaterra un anciano de 79 años se dedica a colgar videos en su sitio, que ya son un éxito en Youtube y dónde cuenta la historia de sus abuelos de la Inglaterra victoriana. Otros casos son los de Ray White y Donald Crowdis de EE.UU. y Canadá respectivamente, que con sus 93 años cada uno son considerados los más longevos del nuevo continente.

Jugar, con Sinatra de fondo

Pero los abuelos cool no sólo quieren Internet. Según el Chicago Tribute, los abuelos de una residencia de Lincolnshire guardaron las cartas en un cajón y ahora la pasan súper con una consola Wii que tienen en el centro. El promedio de edad del lugar es de 77 años, pero parece que lelvan tanto tiempo practicando que tranquilamente podrían competir contra cuaquier chico experto en Wii Bowling, juego favorito de la residencia. ¿Será que tienen pilas para rato?

Espanhola de 95 anos é blogueira mais velha na Web

María Amelia ganhou o blog como presente de um neto quando completou 95 anos de idade

Maria Amelia López Soliño ganhou de presente de aniversário do neto, em dezembro último, um blog. Ela comemorava 95 anos e tornou-se, assim, a blogueira de mais idade da Internet. E bastante produtiva: em pouco mais de dois meses, já tem mais de cem posts publicados e vem recebendo grande audiência. "Navegar pela Internet para uma senhora da minha idade é um sonho, e nunca pensei que ia causar tanta notícia. Imaginei que algumas pessoas fossem me responder, mas tenho leitores de muitos países e todos me incentivam a continuar e me desejam longos anos de vida. Não sou uma mulher interessante, mas parece que os agradei", diz ela em uma das entradas no blog.

María Amélia, como se identifica no blog (http://amis95.blogspot.com/), diz estar contente em ser a blogueira mais velha do mundo, e admite que também ficaria muito feliz se outras pessoas começassem a fazer o mesmo, motivadas por sua "aventura". O mundo da Internet não lhe era tão estranho, pois já havia pedido ao neto Daniel que lhe mostrasse biografias de Felipe González, Alfonso Guerra e o cardeal Rocco Varela na rede.

Mesmo tendo alcançado grande popularidade na Espanha e em diversos outros países, onde ocupou inclusive grande espaço na imprensa escrita e digital, a "vovó da Internet" não tem maiores pretensões e descarta que vá seguir o exemplo de um outro blogueiro idoso, um sueco que, aos 93 anos, planeja ainda escrever uma autobiografia.

Dificuldades

Mesmo dizendo que este é um mundo novo e muito atraente para ela, María Amelia reconhece que as dificuldades existem. Não hesita em listar, de acordo com reportagem do site IBLNews.com, que seu principal problema é a vista, porque precisa estar muito perto do teclado para ver com claridade as teclas. Na tela, é mais fácil: basta tornar maior o tamanho das letras.

Mas o neto a ajuda a escrever. Daniel transcreve "sem mudar uma vírgula" suas palavras. "Eu disse a ele que queria comprar um computador, mas ele me fez desistir da idéia porque já sou muito velha para escrever. E às vezes não consigo ler direito por causa da catarata", explicou María Amelia em entrevista ao diário La voz de Galicia.

A világ legidősebb bloggereivel készített interjúnkból kiderül, bizonyos kor felett az egoblog már nem ciki, a második világháború vicces is tud lenni, a politika pedig érdekes. Maria Amelia spanyol, 1911-ben született és 95. születésnapjára, ajándékként kapta a blogot. Allan Lööf svéd, 94 éves, leginkább a zenéről szeret írni. Ralph Leonard amerikai, 82 éves, átlagos napjait az orvosi konzultációk foglalják le, számítástechnikai magazinokból értesült a blogolás lehetőségéről.

"Keveset tudok Magyarországról, sosem voltam ott. Nyugodt országnak tűnik. Ma délután rá is rákeresek" - mondja Maria Amelia, aki ma a világ legidősebb bloggere. 1911-ben született La Coruñában. Tavaly decemberben, a 95. születésnapjára kapta unokájától blogját. "Azelőtt semmit nem tudtam a blogokról. Az internetről már hallottam azelőtt is, néha megkértem az unokámat, keressen ki nekem néhány információt" - írta az Indexnek.
Sokat vagyunk öreg arcokkal

Mindhárom idős blogger leginkább emlékeiről és fiatalságáról szeret írni, Ralph Leonard "Az utolsó negyed - az élet játéka" című blogjában gyakran szól a második világháborúról is. "Megígértem magamnak, hogy nem írok a háború borzalmairól, csak és kizárólag a vicces részletekről. Eddig sikerült betartanom az ígéretet" - írja, majd hozzáteszi, naponta több órát tölt internetezéssel, de amikor nem a gép előtt ül, főként orvosokhoz járkál. "Szenvedek az idős korral járó betegségektől, de azért a feleségemmel sokat megyünk színházba, bevásárlóközpontokba, és sokat vagyunk olyan öreg arcokkal is, mint mi magunk" - meséli.


Maria Amelia és a kutyák

"Teljes menetfelszerelésben, díszlépésben kellett menetelni húsz mérföldet, ami nagy koncentrációt igényelt, ugyanis magasabb voltam és hosszabbakat léptem, mint a többiek. Más alkalommal ez nem lett volna probléma, mert általában engedélyezték, hogy mindenki akkorát lépjen, amekkorát akar, de ez az őrmester gonoszabb volt, mint a tizedes, aki pedig okleveles szadista volt" - írja a blogban a háború előtti kiképzésről.
Aktív vagyok és nyughatatlan

Allan Lööf és Ralph saját maga blogol, Maria Amelia helyett viszont az unokája gépel, ő pedig csak beszél. Arról, ami éppen eszébe jut: például, furcsának tartja, hogy egy nő 67 évesen lett anya, és szerinte bár Husszein elég nagy barom, a halálbüntetés azért túlzás volt. Maria rendkívül tevékeny, számára a blogolás csak az élet egy csekély szelete: "Aktív vagyok és nyughatatlan. Szeretek főzni, de a család nem nagyon hagy. Néha az unokáim elvisznek autóval kirándulni, olyankor a környéken vacsorázunk, és falvakban nézelődünk" - mondja.

Oldalát havonta ötvenezren látogatják, az összes országos spanyol napilapban és tévécsatornán szerepelt már. Maria Amelia pedig minden sajtómegjelenésről lelkesen beszámol. A webes dráma sem kíméli a 95 éves bloggert, február közepén egy hozzászóló azzal gyanúsította, posztjait unokája manipulálja, eszközként használva a nagymamát az ismertség megszerzésére. Maria Amelia Engem senki sem manipulál! címmel csípős hangvételű szöveggel rakta helyre a vádlót, sőt, a szöveg mellé mp3 hangfájlt is mellékelt, bizonyítva, hogy valóban ő maga beszél.

Ralph Leonard

Ralph, Maria Amelia és Allan is számon tartja a többi nyugdíjas bloggert, barátságuk a virtuális térre korlátozódik: kommentelnek és linkelnek egymásra. Maria Amelia különösen büszke arra, hogy ő a legidősebb, Kibernagyik címmel a születési évszámok bizonyítékaival súlyosbított listát posztolt a legöregebb ismert bloggertársakról. 1911-es születési évével ő maga került a lista élére.

A britek saját özvegy-nyugdíjas Youtube-sztárral is büszkélkedhetnek, Peter79 videoblogger élettörtének egyes szakaszait milliók élvezik. A többnyire lehunyt szemmel sztorizó úr őszintén meglepődött, amikor sztár lett, majd lelkesen folytatta projektjét.


Allan Lööf

Bár életük nagyobbik része web nélkül zajlott, az időskori geekség interjúalanyainkra is nagy hatást gyakorolt. "Jobb lett volna, ha nem csak 88 évesen kezdek internetezni. Azt hiszem kicsit későn kezdtem, de az biztos, hogy ez a legjobb dolog, ami nyugdíj után történt velem. A hobbim a zene, és amíg dolgoztam egyáltalán nem volt időm rá. Sajnos feleségem, Kathie 1989-ben elhunyt, ötven évig voltunk házasok. Akkor visszaköltöztem szülővárosomba, Finspangba, és a kilencvenes évek végén megvettem első számítógépemet. Az nyitott kaput a korlátlan információkhoz" - emlékszik a 94 éves Allan Lööf. Ralph Leonard szerint különösen jó, hogy egy "fizikailag korlátozott, beteges ember" is találkozhat a világgal, Maria Amelia pedig a kapcsolatépítés miatt élvezi leginkább a blogolást: "Azelőtt egyes-egyedül voltam, most pedig rengetegen írnak nekem, és én mindenkinek válaszolok. Szórakoztat a web, olyan dolgokat ismerek meg, amikről fogalmam sem volt. Az egész univerzummal beszélgethetek."

It turns out from our interviews with the oldest bloggers in the world that the egoblog is not sticky above a certain age, the WW II can be funny and the politics interesting. Maria Amelia is Spanish, she was born in 1911 and she got the blog for her 95th birthday. Allan Lööf is Swedish, 94 yearold, he prefers to write about music. Ralph Leonard is American, 82 yearold, his average days are filled with doctoral consultations, he learned the possibility of blogging from computer
magazines.

"I know little about Hungary, I never have been there. It seems a tranquil country. I will search for it this afternoon." - Maria Amelia says, who is the oldest blogger in the world. She was born in La Coruña in 1911. She got her blog from her grandchild for her 95th birthday last
December. "I didn't know anything about blogs before. I had heard about internet before, I asked my grandchild for searching some information sometimes." - wrote she to the index.

We are a lot with old kippers

All of the three bloggers like to write about their youth and reminiscence, Ralph Leonard often writes about the WWII in his blog titled "Last quarter - game of life". "I promised to myself that I don't write about horrible aspects of the war only the funny details. So far I could do this." - he writes. He spents several hours in front of the internet every day. He goes to doctors in the remaining time. "I suffer from oldage illnesses but we go to theatre and malls together withmywife many times and we a lot with such old kippers like us."

"We marched twenty miles with high step with full equipment. It required concentration because I was taller and stepped longer than the others. Normally it wasn't problem because it was allowed to step so long as you wished but that sergeant was more evil than the corporal, who was a certificated sadist." - writes he about the training before the war in his blog.

I am active and a rolling stone

Allan Lööf and Ralph blog himself but instaed of Maria Amelia her grandchild types and she speaks only. About which comes into her mind: for example she wonders that a 67-year-old woman became mother and she thinks that Hussein was bloody fool but the death penalty was an exaggeration. Maria is very active, blogging is just a small slide of life for her: "I am active and a rolling stone. I like to cook but my family doesn't allow me. Sometimes my granchildren bring me to make excursion by car, that time we have dinner there and just looking around
in the villages." she says.

Her website gets fiftythousand hits in everymonths and she was in every countrywide Spanish newspaper and tvchannel. Maria Amelia reports every such event enthusiasticly. A person accused her grandchild that (s)he manipulates the post of the granmother. Maria Amelia refused it with a text and also an mp3 with title: I am not manipulated by anyone.

Ralph, Maria Amelia and Allen knows about the other retired blogger, their friendship is limited in the virtual space: make comments and links to each other. Maria Amelia is specially proud that she is the oldest, she posted a list with dates of births about the knonw blogger
mates with title Cybergrands (?). She is on the top of the list with her 1911 date of birth.

The British can be proud of their widow-retired Youtube star, millions can enjoy parts of Peter79's life. He is a videoblogger. The old guy telling stories with closed eyes mostly was surprised when he became a star and he continues his project enthusiasticly.

However bigger part of their life passed without web, the oldage geekness affect their life very much. "It would have been better if I had started to use the net not only when I was 88. I think that I started a little bit late but I am sure that this the best thing which happened to me after after retiring on a pension. My hobby is the music and while I worked I didn't have time for it. My wife passed in 1989 unfortunately, we were married for fifty years. Then I moved back to my hometown, Finspang, and I bought my first computer at the beginning of the 90s. It opened gate to the unlimited information."-remembers the 94-year-old Allan Lööf. Ralph Leonard's opinion is that it is very good that "physically handicapped, ill person" can meet the world.

Maria Amelia enjoys blogging because of making new connections: "I was alone before, many people write to me now and I answer all of them. The web is amusing and I learn such things about which I hadn't vague idea. I can talk to the whole Universe."

Mi hermano Salvador era un festeiro. Siempre traía los trajes todos llenos de basura, de venir de fiesta. Y me decía: “Limpiame el traje sin que vea mamá, que te he de traer un paquete de bombones.”. Nunca vin o paquete de bombones. E os traxes, ¡si non llos limpiei mil veces os traxes a escondidas!.

Pero era trabajador, y listo como un allo, era listísimo… y siempre ganaba dinero. Estuvo en Carbones empleado, le pareció poco, después con la madera, y con la sal, con la sal hizo la millonada. Porque él era muy simpático y siempre pagaba a la gente. Cafés pagados, copas, y todo… un día un camarero me dijo: “Su hermano hace el indio. Está pagando a La Coruña toda entera.”

Pero mira, cuando murió, no cojían las coronas en ese sitio. No cojían. Y me dijo a mi un señor: ¿Qué es este hermano suyo?”. “Pues mire, fue un golfantito y después se hizo un caballero. Y todos estos, como como eran como él, le traen todas las coronas.”

Al principio cuando llegué no había nadie, estaba Salvador sólo. Y yo me senté en un sillón. Y al poco rato llegaron 4 señores, pensaron que estaba sólo y uno se arrimó y le dijo:

“¡Ay Muxicas, vas bó de divertirte! Morres vello, pero mira, o que disfrutaches ti no mundo non hubo un hombre que disfrutara coma ti. Correches todo o mundo, todo o mundo, viches o que non vimos nós. Bailaba o tango que era unha maravilla. Vas bó de divertirte.”

- Abuelita... ¿me podrías preparar esas natillas que sabes hacer tú tan bien que...?

- Luego hija, luego... que ahora estoy en plena inspiración. Cuando acabe de escribir este post te las hago... Y a ver si vas aprendiendo ¿no?
