María Amelia Lopez leerde internet kennen via haar kleinkind.

Dagelijks krijgt María Amelia Lopez honderden reacties binnen.

Never too old to learn something new ;-)
Keep up the good work Granny!

Hi!

Happy writing (and for everyone else: happy reading!)

By the way: I am from Holland, but we don't speak French (that's Belgium haha). We do speak ALOT of languages, some even fluently ..dutch, english, german etc. I myself am going to learn Spanish, so maybe one day I can read your whole blog (including the non-translated parts!).

I also have read the news about your blog. 1st of, very very nice for you to have found a way to communicate on such large scale. Not many people of your age share the same ability. The people you met who talked French and Dutch are from Belgium. In the Netherlands we only speak dutch. I wish you health and happynes for many years to come.

Yours,

Hans

Hola nona,

. dijo...

Greetings from Holland, Amsterdam!

The country that speaks two languages is Belgium, not Holland.

But Holland is such a small country most people do speak Dutch, English, a bit of German and "une petit pue" French.

I think you are a smart person in like Socrates; who claimed he knew nothing...

Also: WE ARE SOOOOOO JEALOUS OF THE SPANISH WEATHER/CLIMATE... it rains 24-7 here.

Anónimo dijo...

I don't speak spanish so I can't read your Blog, but I think it's terrific that someone who's 95 years old has an own blog!
Good luck with your blog!!

Thank you for this beautiful gift.

Anónimo dijo...

Keep up the good work!! greetings from Holland

Anónimo dijo...

I would like to correct you. In your post you say that a Dutch person told you 2 languages are spoken in Holland. That's not true. In Holland we all speak Dutch. However in Belgium, they speak Dutch and French. So maybe you spoke someone from Belgium and that has caused the mistake.

I think its a good thing you use the modern technoligies on your age. I offered my grandparents to help them and learn them how to use the internet, but they think they are to old to learn new stuff, while you are older!

The sister of my grandma lives on the other side of the world, but she has learn to email. Your not the only old person who uses the internet, but still to less elderly people are using it. Internet can make your world bigger. And while a lot of old people can't travel, they can use the internet to speak to strangers and relatives from all over the world.

To bad your blog isn't in english...

Anónimo dijo...

fantastico !

The Dutch only have one language: Dutch (Nederlands), the Belgiums have two official languages: Francais and Nederlands. So the nice Dutch persons you met in Benidorm must have come from Belgium.

haha, great to end up from a dutch newssite to a spanish blog! it's a small world and i'm impressed that you keep up with it so well! you rock!
one lil' comment; the country you referred to in your reaction is more likely to be Belgium, where they indeed speak french and dutch. In Holland we generally only speak Dutch and some dialects. But no worries, I'll say it again; I'm impressed!
keep it up! :)

Anónimo dijo...

I misspelled happiness in my previous comment.. Anyways.. Keep up the good work.. i'm currently studying spanish so I might be able to actually understand your blog in a while :)
